Rust-orange suede wraps the upper on this Air Max 1, a collaboration between Nike and the Serena Williams Design Crew, with summit white, sundial and clear jade worked into the panels. A debossed Swoosh sits on the quarter panel, and a section of longer, textured suede lines the collar and forefoot overlay for added grip and contrast against the smoother suede elsewhere on the shoe.
A pull tab at the heel makes the shoe easier to put on and take off, and a small jade Swoosh sits on the white leather mudguard at the toe. The midsole matches the upper's tone and holds the model's visible Air cushioning under the heel.
