The second Lace Up colorway of Converse's SHAI 001, done in Straw with Lime and set apart by a cheetah print on the padded tongue, the only patterned element on an otherwise solid shoe. The Lace Up designation refers to the closure: the original SHAI 001 used a zipper, and this version replaces it with laces while keeping the same sculptural shell. That shell is a puffed, moulded upper rather than a stitched panel construction. A Nike Zoom Air unit sits under the forefoot, and the outsole runs a radial traction pattern built for quick changes of direction. Shai's signature logo appears on the tongue alongside the print.

The Berry and Dusk version of the same Lace Up model arrives a few weeks earlier in August at the same price.
