This one never had a normal release. Undefeated's version of the first Kobe, rebuilt as a Protro, was shown at the 2017 NBA All-Star Game and then simply not sold, handed out to friends and family of the shop and of Nike Basketball instead. When a small number finally reached the public it was through ten pairs at Undefeated's Tokyo store in the Meiji Dori area, distributed by raffle and a basketball tournament rather than over a counter. The shoe itself carries swappable jersey patches at the tongue and heel, a detail unique to the collaboration. Multi-colour with rage green makes it the loudest thing in a Protro line that mostly reissued Kobe Bryant's originals faithfully, and the scarcity has kept it in the category of shoes most people have only seen photographed.
