Mechanical cushioning runs from heel toward forefoot on the Nike Shox TL. This women's edition combines Black, Metallic Hematite and Max Orange with a mesh-based upper and molded reinforcement through the midfoot. A TPU plate at the heel provides another structural component above the exposed columns. Synthetic and textile materials form the upper, while rubber completes the outsole beneath the full-length cushioning arrangement.
The current TL closely follows the design introduced in 2003. Its Shox system combines flexible columns with moderator plates, allowing the cushioning structure to compress and return to shape. Because those elements remain exposed, they also determine much of the shoe's appearance from the side and rear. The molded upper and long sequence of columns work together to preserve the model's original proportions. In this dark colorway, metallic and orange accents punctuate a construction whose defining feature remains visible mechanical cushioning.
