The 5-inch track short is the longer of two Stretch Nylon shorts in this NikeSKIMS release, sitting above the 2-inch runner short. Nike builds it from an 80 percent nylon, 20 percent elastane shell with a mesh lining and a soft internal waistband, plus hand pockets, which the runner short does without. Closure is an elastic waistband with a drawcord. Dri-FIT construction moves sweat off the skin, and the whole piece is machine washable. Where the runner short uses high side slits and a brief liner, this one is cut as a straightforward everyday short.
NSKM Cobalt is one of two colorways, released with an Obsidian version at the same $68 price. The launch is set for July 30, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern. Within Stretch Nylon, the two shorts are the entry point, below a $78 skort, a $128 oversized vest, $128 oversized pants and a $148 oversized jacket. The group is the Dri-FIT portion of the collection, which separates it from the Satin Shine bras and leggings and the acetate-blend Stretch Knit separates dropping the same morning. Around seventy NikeSKIMS pieces are scheduled for that one window.
