On built the Cloud X Tempo Pro for hybrid fitness racing (the format that strings running together with sled work, wall balls and weighted movements) and developed it with athlete Alexander Rončević. The midsole combines CloudTec cushioning with Helion HF foam for energy return, and a full-length carbon Speedboard runs through it to sharpen transitions and push-off. A dynamic rocker shape adds to that, while On's Missiongrip outsole compound is specified for the traction demands of pushing and pulling a sled. Holding it together is a lightweight engineered mesh upper with a midfoot cage and an integrated strap, giving the lockdown needed for lateral and loaded work. On's spec list: a 9 mm heel-to-toe drop, roughly 267 grams in men's sizing, a snug fit, and recycled polyester in the upper.
White and Celeste is the only colorway On shows for the shoe. It is scheduled for August 27, 2026 at $250, placing it in On's carbon-plated bracket, the training counterpart to the Cloudboom Strike 2, and a clear step above the brand's $160 Cloud X 5 studio trainer.
