The Cloudmonster 3 is the maximal daily trainer in On's road range, built for the durable, versatile mileage that makes up most of a training week. The headline change in this generation is a triple-layer CloudTec midsole: On stacks its structural cushioning pods in three tiers to add rebound, and says the setup restores the forward-rolling ride the Cloudmonster built its reputation on. Helion foam fills that structure, tuned to keep some stability rather than being purely soft, and a Speedboard plate runs through the platform, bending at the forefoot to store energy before releasing it at push-off. The upper is recycled polyester, the shoe is made in Vietnam, and On lists a regular fit that runs true to size across men's sizes 7 to 14.
