The Cloudpulse Next is the lightest and cheapest shoe in On's Cloudpulse training family, and it leans on geometry rather than hardware for support. A wide platform and a heel clip supply the stability, while On's signature CloudTec cushioning and a Helion superfoam midsole handle the soft underfoot feel. On rates it at light stability and pitches it at warm-ups, lunges and general circuit work, plus wear outside the gym. Unlike the Cloudpulse 2 and Cloudpulse Pro, On's spec list for this model does not include a Focusboard plate.
