This is the Cloudboom Strike 2 built with On's LightSpray upper, a process in which a robot lays down a single 1.5 km strand of yarn to form a seamless one-piece shell in about three minutes, with no laces at all. Underneath sits On's CloudTec Sphere cushioning system, which leaves thin gaps between the forefoot and midfoot so the foam can flex in several directions rather than one, plus Helion HF hyper foam for energy return and a carbon Speedboard for propulsion. A high-grip rubber outsole handles traction. On lists a 5 mm heel-to-toe drop, roughly 158 grams, TPU as the primary material, production in Switzerland, and an Elite Run Sock High Hyper included with the shoe.
The pair comes in White and Verdite, one of two colorways. On has it scheduled for August 27, 2026 at $310, which is $60 above the standard Cloudboom Strike 2 and its woven, laced upper.
