The Cloudmonster 1 is On's lifestyle rework of the Cloudmonster, built for walking and standing rather than running. The midsole still uses On's CloudTec cushioning system, here tuned for all-day wear, with a Speedboard for spring and Helion foam to absorb impact, plus a forefoot rocker that adds toe spring to each step. The upper is a single piece with an integrated lacing system that hides the metal eyelets, giving a cleaner look than a conventional runner, and the sockliner is soft for an easy step-in. A rubber outsole covers grip on pavement. On lists a 7 mm heel-to-toe drop, roughly 220 grams in women's sizing, recycled polyester in the build and manufacturing in Vietnam, and files the shoe under everyday and travel use.
