The Cloudrunner 3 Max is On's cushioned, stability-leaning daily road trainer, a step up in foam from the standard Cloudrunner 3. Its midsole runs two densities: Helion HF hyper foam closest to the foot for impact absorption and comfort, and a firmer Helion foam layer beneath for durability, both shaped by a CloudTec cushioning system that On engineered for stable rather than springy runs. A wide platform and moderate forefoot rocker promote longer, flatter ground contact; higher sidewall cupping and a heel clip cut down lateral movement and lock the rearfoot in. Engineered mesh handles breathability up top, plush heel and tongue padding takes care of the fit, and a rubber outsole is built out for grip and mileage. On's spec sheet lists an 8 mm drop, about 275 grams in women's sizing, recycled polyester content, and production in Vietnam.
