The Cloudswift Amp takes On's running platform and repurposes it for everyday wear, which is why the brand keeps it in the active-life range rather than with the road shoes. Underfoot it uses a CloudTec cushioning system, On's structural approach of shaping foam into pods that compress both vertically and sideways as the foot lands, paired with a dual-density Helion midsole so the shoe can be softer in some zones and firmer in others rather than uniform throughout. The upper is recycled polyester, the shoe is made in Vietnam, and On rates the fit as true to size. The women's size run covers 5 through 11, and a men's version is offered.
