Two colourways carried Puma's 75th anniversary Suede Classic on the same January 2023 date, and this is the green one. Archive Green runs over the quarter panels, the toe, the tongue and the Formstrip, so the upper is effectively monochrome from the laces down to the foxing, with black used as the lone accent. The list price was 80 dollars. Green on green is a quieter way to run an anniversary shoe than a printed graphic, and it hands the attention back to the shape and the nap of the material.
The model Puma picked to carry the birthday is the obvious one.
