The Answer IV is inseparable from about four seconds of basketball. In overtime of Game 1 of the 2001 NBA Finals, Allen Iverson crossed Tyronn Lue, made a twenty-foot jumper for his forty-eighth point, and stepped over Lue on his way back up the floor, a moment the shoe has been named after ever since. The build was as distinctive as the moment: leather on leather, a zip-up shroud over the lacing, and Reebok's DMX cushioning in the midsole. The detailing was personal too, with Iverson's likeness on the outsole surrounded by the phrase Only The Strong Survive, and an image of his tattooed arm on the insole. Reebok has returned to the model repeatedly since, and this black and grey treatment keeps the shroud and the shape while stepping away from the original's white.
