A faint geometric grid is visible across the dark mesh of this Salomon XT-6 GORE-TEX. Its Black/Black/Asphalt palette keeps the side lettering, reinforced toe and angular overlays close in tone, so their outlines emerge through changes in surface rather than bright trim. Glossy supports around the heel contrast with textured foam above and beneath them. Even the small GORE-TEX logo near the toe uses grey against black.
The low upper contains a waterproof membrane and closed mesh intended to limit incoming debris. Its coated Quicklace cord tightens through fabric loops and a single upper eyelet; the remaining cord can be tucked into the tongue’s lace pocket. A molded OrthoLite sockliner sits over the cushioned midsole, and deep rubber lugs extend below the heel and forefoot.
