The XT-6 is a unisex sneaker and one of the core silhouettes in Salomon's Sportstyle range, a trail-running design the brand adapted for street wear. The upper mixes synthetic panels with textile over a soft textile lining, and the fit hardware carries over from Salomon's mountain shoes: a quickLACE cord that tightens with one pull, a pocket to stow the lace ends, a sensiFIT wrap that cradles the foot from midsole to eyelets, and an endoFit inner sleeve. A protective toecap covers the front.
Inside is a molded OrthoLite sockliner, shaped to the contours of the footbed. The midsole is an EnergyCell foam working with the agileCHASSIS, Salomon's stability and damping structure, and the outsole is Mud contaGRIP, a soft-ground compound with deep, sharp lugs, meaning traction more aggressive than most lifestyle sneakers need.
