Just Drops is free to browse and offers affiliate links and paid advertising placements. This page explains how those work, because you should be able to see how a site that recommends where to buy things makes its money.
Many of the links on Just Drops are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission from the retailer, at no additional cost to you.
This applies across the site: release pages, the “Where to Buy” lists, the Deals and Sales pages, promo code links, sale banners, and links inside alerts we send you.
Companies, brands and retailers can advertise here, including businesses whose products or services are unrelated to the shoe or brand on a page. A general company ad does not mean the advertiser sells that shoe or is affiliated with the brand being browsed. A Featured retailer offer is product-specific and must link to the exact product the advertiser sells.
A business can pay for a placement on Just Drops, such as a sponsored release card, retailer feature, store feature, rail, sidebar, or sponsor message in an alert. Payment can affect which business appears in that specific placement and how prominently it appears.
Paid placements are identified where they appear with a clear label such as Ad or Advertisement, together with the sponsor identity where relevant. A placement can also contain an affiliate link, so we may receive both a placement fee and a commission on a resulting purchase. This page supplements those disclosures; it does not replace a label beside the advertising itself.
Payment does not establish that a product is the best choice, that we independently tested it, or that an offer is still available. It does not buy changes to release dates, prices, discount claims, or stock information. Check the advertiser or retailer before purchasing.
The examples on our advertising page show proposed formats using placeholder creative and sample data. They do not imply sponsorship by the brands or retailers shown. Campaigns require the written arrangements described in our advertising terms.
When you click through to a retailer, the link may pass through an affiliate network that records the referral so the retailer knows the visit came from us. A link can route through a different network than you might expect from the retailer’s name alone.
The price you pay is exactly the same either way. Affiliate links do not add a fee, and they do not change the retailer’s pricing, stock, or returns policy.
We work with several affiliate networks and with retailer and brand affiliate programs. We do not send them your name, email address, or any account identifier — see our Privacy Policy.
It does influence placement. Commercial relationships can affect which stores and offers appear in some placements, and in what order. Paid placements are labeled where they appear.
It does not influence the facts we publish. Release dates, prices, discount percentages, stock indicators, and product details are reported as we find them from brands, retailers, and product feeds. We do not alter a price or change a release date because of commission, and we also list retailers we earn nothing from.
Commission does not make our data correct. Prices, availability, and dates come from third parties and are frequently out of date or wrong. Always confirm at the retailer before you buy — our Terms of Service sets out the full accuracy disclaimer.
