One panel breaks from the usual Stan Smith recipe here: the heel tab, classically green, runs Core Black instead against a Footwear White leather upper. The perforated three-row stripe detail stays on each side in place of a printed logo, and Stan Smith's sketched portrait sits on the tongue as it has since the late 1970s.
Retail landed at $115 when it released on November 7, 2019, putting a darker accent on a build that otherwise sticks close to the original court shoe's proportions and white leather base. The rubber cupsole and flat laces carry over unchanged from the standard model, so the only real departure from the classic all-white pairing is the black panel at the back of the heel. Footwear White remains the base color across the leather panels, tongue, and eyelets, leaving Core Black as the single accent rather than spreading it across multiple panels.
