Strip a Superstar of everything a baby cannot manage and the 360 is what remains. There is no lacing, no tongue and no leather upper; instead the foot slides into a stretchy neoprene bootie that holds its shape well enough to keep the silhouette recognisable.
What carries over are the identifying parts. The Three-Stripes are rendered in reflective material, so a child crossing a road at dusk picks up headlights. A branded leather patch sits at the heel. The rubber shell toe, the feature the whole model is nicknamed for, is moulded across the front. Underfoot, an EVA outsole is cut with deep hexagonal grooves that let the sole twist and bend with a foot still learning to walk.
