adidas built out a whole family of Wonder colours in the early 2020s, muted mineral and earth tones named for what they resemble, and this women's pair uses two of them together. Wonder Quartz is the paler of the two, a soft pink-grey, while Wonder Clay is warmer and browner, and the shift between them across the mesh upper is subtle enough to read as shading rather than colour blocking.
Mesh is the right carrier for that. Unlike knit it holds an even surface, so the two tones meet cleanly instead of blurring into each other at the transition. The Three Stripes are welded on in matching shades, which keeps the sidewall free of any hard line. Below, the full-length Boost midsole is Cloud White with inserts moulded into the foam, a bright base that stops the earth tones from settling too low and dark. Released in women's sizing on December 22, 2023 at $130, it kept the same segmented rubber outsole and sock-like collar the model has always used.
