The two sides of the Anthony Edwards 2 Christmas use different colors. Red covers the lateral side, while bright lime appears on the medial side, with black joining the tongue, collar and central lacing area. Dark outlines follow the molded supports that cross the upper. The result depends on a change in viewpoint: the same pair presents a different dominant color from either side.
Under that split color treatment, the AE 2 combines textile and synthetic materials with articulated TPU reinforcement. Its midsole brings together Lightstrike and Lightboost, and the propulsion plate adds support through the sole. These are the defining parts of Edwards' second signature basketball model, separate from the seasonal finish. The contrasting panels draw attention to the support pieces and the sections of textile left visible around them, making construction and color placement work together.
