Fucking Awesome, a skate and streetwear label, teamed with adidas Originals on this Stan Smith, released September 21, 2019, at $110. The leather upper trades the usual white base for a semi solar green finish, with gold metallic hits on the branding and a core black patch standing in for the shoe's usual heel tab color.
The perforated rows down each side aren't decoration for this release alone: they've stood in for adidas's three stripes since the shoe's earliest days as a tennis shoe, and they stay intact here even against a color scheme this far from the original white leather. It's a good example of how far outside labels have been able to push the palette on a shape that otherwise changes very little between releases.
