This version of the twenty-fourth Cumulus runs safety yellow across the mesh with a deep green through the sole and branding. The shoe underneath comes from the year Asics upgraded the model's midsole, replacing the older foam with a full-length layer of the springier compound used higher in the range, adding three millimetres of forefoot stack and one at the heel, and lowering the drop to eight millimetres in the process. It is a neutral daily trainer positioned a rung below the brand's maximum-cushioning model and priced accordingly, and reviewers found the change made it livelier without costing it the comfort people buy the line for. It arrived in late summer 2022.
