The eleventh GT-1000 arrived in late 2022 and did something the rest of the ASICS stability range did not: it held its price. The GT-2000 went from a hundred and thirty dollars to a hundred and forty with its eleventh version, while the GT-1000 stayed at a hundred, which widened the gap between the two and made the cheaper shoe a clearer entry point into the category.
The support approach stayed the same. LiteTruss on the inner side of the heel and midfoot resists inward roll, and the rest is a straightforward FlyteFoam and GEL trainer with no premium foam anywhere in it. Reviewers have generally treated the model as a lot of shoe for the money and short on excitement, which is a fair description of what it sets out to be.
