An all-white running shoe is a statement of confidence about how often it will be cleaned. This one sits on the twenty-fourth Nimbus, the version that changed the model's direction. ASICS swapped in FF Blast Plus, a foam it rated around fifteen per cent lighter and softer than the FF Blast it succeeded, and testers measured the shoe well under its predecessor while finding it livelier at pace; where the 23 suited easy plodding, the 24 could be pushed. The line itself dates to 1999, launched as the cushioned end of the road range and kept there ever since. White with pure silver leaves nowhere for that tall midsole to hide; the stack reads at its full height, and the silver detailing across the upper catches enough light to break up what would otherwise be a very large expanse of pale mesh.
