Two broad straps cross the laces of the Air Jordan 8 Retro Chrome, ending beside pale metallic-looking hardware. Black / Light Graphite / White puts most of the contrast below those straps: grey sole sections curve around the heel and forefoot, and a black-and-white patterned panel climbs the rear side. The padded black collar and raised tongue keep the top half comparatively dark.
Real leather, synthetic leather and textiles form the layered upper around a stretchy inner sleeve. Nike Air cushioning occupies both the heel and forefoot, with a foam midsole above rubber tread. A small rear pull tab sits behind the collar. The straps add a second adjustable element over the conventional lace row, while the patterned rear panel remains visible below their crossing ends.
