Nike's Air Max 95 'Wolf Grey' trades the silhouette's original neon-gradient upper for a tighter grey scale. Wolf Grey suede covers the layered, wave-shaped panels that run up the shoe's ribcage-like structure, with white filling the mesh underlays and cool grey finishing the mudguard and heel. The mini Swoosh sits low at the rear in its usual spot, and the visible Air units, one in the heel and one in the forefoot, stay housed in a black midsole. It released March 18, 2023 at $175.
Sergio Lozano built the Air Max 95's paneled upper to read as muscle and sinew layered over a spine-like shank, and this pair keeps that structure legible without the original's contrast colour blocking. Suede is used through the whole upper rather than mixing in leather, which flattens the shoe's texture into one material and lets the grey gradient carry the design on its own.
