This Blueberry colorway renders the Air Max 97 on a white mesh base, using black underlays at the toe and heel, psychic blue on the mudguard, and university blue running through the shoe's wavy overlay panels. Nike released the pair in June 2022 at a retail price of 175 dollars.
The two toned blue works with the model's reflective wavy piping, a feature that has run across the Air Max 97 since it first released as a running shoe in 1997. White mesh keeps the base of the shoe light, letting the psychic blue and university blue read as the focal color rather than an accent, a simpler treatment than the multi panel colorways that make up much of the line.
