Diamond Supply Co.'s first Nike SB Dunk arrived in 2005 in a blue the skate world immediately started calling Tiffany, and it stayed the reference point for every collaboration the brand did afterwards. The 2018 return was a three-colour set (black, white and this yellow), and the yellow was the one held back. Rather than restating the original palette, it swaps the metaphor: canary is the trade name for the yellow stones the shoe is chasing, and the upper answers with bright yellow leather under croc-textured overlays. The Swoosh is the part worth studying. A metallic silver panel sits over a hook-and-loop base in the aqua blue of the 2005 pair, so it can be stripped back to the colour the collaboration is actually known for; the heel tabs lift the same way to show embroidery underneath. Production was small (reporting at the time put it at roughly 250 pairs) and distribution smaller still, split between a convention release and hand-outs to the brand's own circle, with the convention drop disrupted badly enough that it had to be rescheduled and redistributed later.
