About the Concepts x Nike Dunk Low SB 'Purple Lobster' Special Box
Purple takes over nearly every panel of this Dunk Low, running Voltage Purple through the leather base and a darker Court Purple across the overlays so the shoe reads as one tonal build rather than a color-blocked shoe. A checkered insole, patterned like a picnic blanket, breaks up the purple once the foot is inside, and a rubber strap circles the front of the toe box, a small structural touch that also doubles as a visual marker separate from the leather around it.
Concepts designed the pair with Nike SB, released December 14, 2018 at $100 and packaged in a special box. The shoe reworks a design the shop first put out in 2009 in red, carrying over the checkered insole and toe strap while dropping in a new, fully purple palette in place of the original color story.
