The Nike Dunk Low Premium SB 'Baby Bear' is the low top entry in Nike SB's Three Bears pack, released in November 2006 alongside a Dunk Mid 'Mama Bear' and Dunk High 'Papa Bear'. Each shoe in the trio wore a faux fur upper and carried Medicom Be@rbrick graphics on the insole, tying the pack to the vinyl toy line. On the Baby Bear, the fur arrives in yellow, paired with bright blue suede panels, with green picked up on the Swoosh and laces for a colorful, cartoonish finish.
Underneath the playful upper, the Dunk kept its usual skate construction, with a Zoom Air unit in the heel and insole providing the cushioning that defines every SB Dunk. The Premium designation reflects the higher grade materials used to pull off the fur and suede combination compared with a standard Pro build. The 'Baby Bear' retailed for $65 at its November 2006 release.
