Dating to Nike SB's Silver Box era, the Dunk Low Pro SB 'Bison' stands out as the only colorway from that stretch built almost entirely in suede, right down to the tongue. The palette stays understated for an early SB release: several shades of brown move across the heel, quarter panel and Swoosh, keeping the shoe closer to a workwear look than the louder colorways that followed later in the decade. A gum rubber outsole underneath ties the earthy upper tones together.
Sport Red breaks up the brown at the toe box, giving the otherwise muted design a single point of contrast. Underneath, a Zoom Air unit in the heel and insole carries over the cushioning that defined the SB Dunk from its 2002 launch onward. The 'Bison' released in March 2003 at $65, an entry-level price for the line before pricier collaborations arrived in later years.
