Peter Moore, who also designed the Air Jordan 1, drew up the Dunk in 1985 as a team basketball shoe; the Dunk Low SB 'Summit White' updates that shape in a suede and leather upper split between Summit White panels and Wolf Grey overlays. The Swoosh and a perforated vamp carry the same two-tone treatment, and a two-tone outsole closes out the build. It released June 25, 2018 at $90.
The Zoom Air unit sits concealed inside the sole rather than showing through a window, keeping the profile close to the original basketball silhouette while still giving skaters the cushioning Nike SB built into every Pro SB Dunk. Against the brighter, graphic heavy colorways that made up much of the SB Dunk's catalog by 2018, 'Summit White' reads as one of the format's more restrained releases, built around tone and texture instead of a print or a collaborator's name.
