White perforated panels and a pale grey sole give the Nike Mind 002 White Vast Grey a mostly tonal appearance. Metallic Silver Swooshes and upper eyelets provide small reflective breaks, while Anthracite completes the official White/Vast Grey/Anthracite/Metallic Silver colorway. White laces cross the front, and layered ridges rise around the closed heel. Even the rounded nodes underneath are light, so the sole's unusual outline is visible without the bright contrasting nodes used on some other Mind releases.
The men's White Vast Grey edition was introduced at a U.S. retail price of $145. Its 22 separate underfoot nodes sit within a soft foam platform and can move independently beneath the foot. The enclosed, laced upper gives the Mind 002 a sneaker-like construction, with a pull loop extending above the heel. In this colorway, the repeated pale surfaces keep attention on the perforations, stacked rear contours and individual elements beneath the sole.
