The Vaporposite Pro is a football cleat that borrows its look from Foamposite, the molded synthetic upper material Nike first used on basketball shoes in the late 1990s, and applies that appearance to a shoe built for the field. Beneath the surface, an internal chassis runs the full length of the foot and takes on the job a traditional external plate would, holding the shoe stable while still letting the sole flex. Traction comes from external pods instead of one continuous plate, and the studs sit at wider spacings across the bottom, which Nike points to as the reason the cleat handles hard lateral cuts. The upper itself is lightweight, with an overlay layered on top for durability. This pair is finished in Game Royal with Black and White.
