There is no theme and no collaboration attached to this one. It is the women's Air Force 1 Low in a single blue, which is how the overwhelming majority of the model's colorways have always worked: take the 1982 pattern, change the color, leave everything else alone.
That pattern is worth knowing on its own terms. Bruce Kilgore drew it as a basketball shoe, and the details that survive on a shoe nobody plays in are all functional in origin. The perforations across the toe box vented a foot working on a hardwood floor. The collar is padded because ankles took impact. The circular pattern on the outsole was cut for pivoting. The small metal medallion hanging from the laces carries the model's name and the year it launched. Under the foam midsole sits the encapsulated Air unit that made the shoe notable in the first place, the first time Nike put the technology in a basketball model. Retail was $100.
