Tonal pastel makeups are a standing part of Nike's women's Air Force 1 program, and this one commits to it completely: Light Soft Pink on the leather upper, the same tone carried through the midsole and outsole, and no second color anywhere on the shoe. Even the Swoosh is stitched in the base tone rather than picked out.
What that leaves is texture. The leather grain, the perforation pattern across the toe box, the stitched outline of the Swoosh and the ridge where the mudguard laps the panel are the only things breaking the surface, which is why these builds photograph flatter than they look in person. Underneath, nothing departs from the original basketball design. The midsole carries an encapsulated Air unit in the heel, the outsole keeps the circular pivot pattern, and the small metal medallion still hangs from the laces.
