Bryant spent his childhood in Italy, where his father played professionally, and came back to the United States fluent in Italian and in European football. That background shaped his signature line more than most player biographies shape a shoe. It shows up in the design brief he gave Eric Avar, in the club colours that recur across his colourways, and in the way the line kept borrowing from a sport played in low-cut boots rather than from basketball's own conventions. This pair takes a Spanish club's home kit as its palette, blue and red with ochre, on the sixth model's textured polyurethane upper with Zoom Air at both ends of the foot. Bryant wore the shoe through the 2010 and 2011 season, the last stretch of his career in which he played a full campaign at that level.
