The GT line is Nike's basketball platform for players without signature shoes, split into Cut, Jump and Hustle depending on what the wearer needs from it. The Hustle is the cushioned end of that split, and Victor Wembanyama has played in it since arriving in the league.
Black Label was made for All-Star weekend in February 2025 and released at $220. The upper runs black against coconut milk and carries a three-dimensional embroidered graphic in wave forms across it, with the swooshes outlined rather than filled. Wembanyama's alien mark, the shorthand that followed him from France, sits on the right tongue in metallic silver; the left reads Black Label. A small tab carries the words Be Unique and Everyday, taken from his own phrasing.
All-Star shoes are loud by convention, and this one goes the other way, working through texture and a restricted palette rather than the pattern-heavy treatments the weekend usually produces. That reads as a fair judgement about the player it was made for, who does not need a graphic to explain that he is unusual.
