The Nike Rift 2 is a faithful reissue of a deep cut from Nike's archive. The original Air Rift arrived in 1996 with its unmistakable split-toe shape, and the Rift 2 followed in 2002 as a streamlined, fully slip-on update. This return brings that 2002 design back one-for-one for the current era, in a women's colorway of Black and Team Dark Green with Fire Red accents.
Construction follows the original blueprint: a flexible, perforated upper with mesh underlays keeps the shoe light and breathable, the laceless entry preserves its easy on-off character, and a rubber outsole finishes the build. The split-toe silhouette remains the entire point, a design long associated with the Rift family and one of the more distinctive shapes Nike still produces.
