The women's Nike Run Defy keeps most of its White/Smoke Grey/Black palette above a white midsole, using narrow grey lines to add detail around the toe and quarter. A long black-outlined Swoosh overlaps that pattern, while the heel and collar stay largely pale. The black outsole is visible at the toe and heel from the side, creating small dark edges beneath the otherwise light runner. Conventional laces and a low padded-looking opening complete the upper's simple arrangement.
Mesh provides the upper material, and a foam midsole supplies the cushioning. Nike specifies flex grooves and a waffle outsole with additional rubber in contact areas.
