The XT-6 is Salomon's trail-running silhouette turned everyday sneaker, sold as a unisex model. Its upper combines synthetic overlays with textile panels over a breathable textile lining, finished with a protective toecap. Fit is handled by three pieces borrowed from Salomon's mountain footwear: the quickLACE cord, which tightens the shoe in one pull and stores in a small pocket, a sensiFIT frame that runs up from the midsole to the lacing, and an endoFit sleeve inside that hugs the foot. A molded OrthoLite sockliner supplies the immediate underfoot cushioning.
Below that, an EnergyCell midsole and the agileCHASSIS work together on stability and impact damping, and the outsole is Mud contaGRIP with deep, sharp lugs intended for loose or rugged ground. Salomon lists a 10 mm drop and a weight of 13 ounces per unit. This colorway is scheduled to release on August 1, 2026 at 6:00 AM Eastern time.
