Gum rubber is rare on this model. The line almost always finishes its outsole in a colour matched to the foam above, so swapping in translucent amber changes the balance of the whole shoe: the eye now stops at the ground instead of at the midsole, and the profile gains a warm band it does not normally have.
Above that, the treatment is restrained. Magic Grey covers the knit upper, a warm mid-grey rather than a cool one, which is what lets the gum sit comfortably underneath it instead of clashing. Cloud White takes the full-length Boost midsole and the inserts moulded into its sidewall, so the shoe reads in three clear horizontal bands from collar to floor. The Three Stripes are welded on and kept tonal. It released April 16, 2022 at $150, standard knit pricing for the model that year, with the branded pull tab at the heel and a small Trefoil at the tongue as the only markings.
