This is a two-register shoe: the body stays quiet and one accent does all the talking. Metal Grey fills the breathable knit upper, a cool mid-grey with the Three Stripes worked tonally into the sidewall, and Core Black handles the collar lining and the lower structural pieces. Nothing on that half of the shoe asks for attention.
Signal Green does. It is a high-visibility yellow-green borrowed from safety wear, applied to the overlay across the forefoot and repeated on the rear inserts moulded into the midsole, so the accent appears once at each end of the shoe and the eye connects the two. That symmetry is why a small amount of colour carries a design this muted. The Boost unit runs the full length as always, with a rubber outsole below it for traction, and the pair released in April 2020 at $130. The pull tab and heel badge stay in black, holding the count of colours to three.
