Web DNA is the version of the UltraBoost that strips the upper back to a lattice. Instead of a dense Primeknit sock, the knit is opened into a wide grid so air moves through it and the sock liner shows in the gaps. This pair runs the grid in Core Black over a black interior, then breaks the darkness with Clear Pink on the heel pull and small trim, a soft rose that reads almost white in low light.
The rest is familiar: a moulded midfoot cage laced into the eyestay, a heel counter that wraps the achilles, and a full-length Boost midsole under everything. adidas priced the pair at $160 for its June 9, 2022 release, which put it under the $190 and $200 tags carried by the 1.0 and DNA 22 versions of the same year. The lower number reflects the simpler upper rather than any change to the cushioning, which is the same compressed pellet foam the line has used since 2015.
