The EVA inserts moulded into the NMD midsole are normally matte, finished either in a flat contrast colour or in the same shade as the foam around them. This women's pair gives them a metallic face instead, which changes what the sidewall does with light: the inserts become the brightest thing on the shoe and the black textile above them reads as backdrop.
That upper is Core Black throughout, with the Three Stripes rendered tonally so nothing competes with the metal, and Orchid Tint used sparingly as a third colour. The Boost midsole itself is white, giving the polished pieces a pale field to sit against rather than sinking them into dark foam. Construction is the familiar one-piece textile build with a sock-like collar, a heel badge and a branded pull tab, and it was priced at $130, the usual women's figure for the model. The outsole is the segmented rubber pattern the silhouette has used throughout its run, left in white to match the foam above it.
