Blue side panels introduce a separate layer of color into the Anthony Edwards 2 Blue Fusion. Black mesh remains visible around the tongue and upper, while the TPU reinforcements extend over the heel and forefoot. Small openings at the front reveal lime-colored textile underneath. These changes in color help distinguish the molded supports from the mesh they surround.
Edwards' second signature shoe uses a propulsion plate within a midsole combining Lightstrike and Lightboost. The upper's shaped supports contribute containment, and the modified herringbone rubber outsole supplies traction beneath the cushioning. Rather than relying on one continuous side cage, the construction creates distinct reinforced areas around a textile base. The Blue Fusion edition makes that division visible through the blue panels, black framework and smaller lime details, with Edwards' own branding retained on the tongue.
