G-SNK stands for the two things this shoe does at once: glow and snake. The Primeknit upper carries a snakeskin graphic that charges in daylight and releases the stored light in the dark, so the pattern is present either way but reads completely differently depending on the hour. On a Core Black base the daytime version is subtle and the night version is not.
atmos is the Tokyo brand behind it, and the detailing leans on text: branding appears in more than one language and an oversized wordmark runs across the upper, neither of which would turn up on a plain adidas release. A Trefoil badge at the heel, welded Three Stripes and the usual pull tab hold the shoe to the family template. Below, the Boost midsole with its EVA inserts and a rubber outsole are unchanged, in Footwear White against the dark upper. It arrived on October 5, 2019 at $150.
