Walt Disney's company was founded in 1923, and this women's UltraBoost 1.0 marks the hundred years that followed. adidas kept the palette quiet for a character collaboration: Grey One across the Primeknit, off white through the cage and heel, and Silver Metallic for the accents, a scheme closer to a platinum anniversary plaque than to any single film. The restraint is deliberate, since most of the studio's footwear tie-ins lean on bold character prints instead.
Mechanically this is the original 1.0 geometry that adidas launched in February 2015 and rebuilt through the 2020s, with the knit upper, the laced midfoot cage and the full-length Boost midsole intact. It shipped in January 2023 at $210, a premium over the $180 to $190 that plain 1.0 colourways carried, which is the usual cost of a licensed collaboration. The women's sizing run and the metallic detailing separate it from the general release versions that shared shelf space that season.
