LE marks a limited make-up rather than a standard seasonal colour, and indigo blue with papaya is a sharper pairing than the third Novablast normally carried. The shoe under it had been steadily corrected across three generations. The 2020 original introduced a high-rebound foam in a tall midsole with an outsole ASICS explained through a trampoline analogy, and drew complaints about heel stability that the next two versions set out to fix. This one widened the platform further, built up the sidewalls, added a millimetre of stack at both ends while keeping the eight-millimetre drop, and moved to FF Blast Plus (softer, lighter and bouncier than the FF Blast before it). The upper was rebuilt in more breathable material made largely from recycled content. What emerged is a soft, protective daily trainer rather than the novelty the first version was.
